Server-Evening Shift

We are pleased to announce that Riverside restaurant is currently seeking experienced full and part-time servers to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is unforgettable. We take pride in our locally inspired food, superb hospitality, ambiance, and our breathtaking location along the great Columbia River.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide knowledge of our menu, provide recommendations, and answer questions about menu items
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly while ensuring the proper presentation and temperature
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or issues
• Upsell menu items and promote specials and events
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils
• Assist with side work and closing duties as assigned by management.

• Enjoy working with a team in a dynamic work environment
• Have strong communication skills
• Have previous hospitality experience in fine-dining
• Have knowledge of wine, wine service and cocktails
• Are an energetic self-starter with good problem-solving skills and work well under pressure
• Are available to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Are dependable, timely and detail-oriented
• Have a valid food handler's permit and be OLCC-certified

Requirements:

• 21 & over please
• 1 year of Fine Dining experience required
• 10-day training course will be implemented
