Columbia Grounds Management, Inc., a Howard County based full service commercial landscape and snow removal company, is seeking an experienced landscape equipment and fleet mechanic. Qualifications-
A minimum of 3 years repair experience with mowers, small engines, two-cycle equipment, trucks and snow equipment
Basic automotive/truck repair experience
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and a team oriented attitude
Strong organizational skills focusing on shop cleanliness, recordkeeping, inventory, and safety in the workspace
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Provide your own tools for the job
Bilingual, English-Spanish a plus
Requirements -
Perform maintenance and repairs on landscape equipment, including stand-on mowers and two-cycle equipment, trucks and snow equipment
Be physically able to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs
Exhibit a strong mechanical knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and engines - both gasoline and diesel
Maintain an orderly and safe workspace
