Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive preventive, routine, and critical vehicle maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Accurately diagnose mechanical failures and electrical issues, devise solutions and effective repair plans.
- Perform detailed inspections to identify and repair or replace worn or defective components promptly.
- Utilize technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Diligently document all repairs, maintenance procedures, and services performed, maintaining precise records.
- Adhere strictly to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), ensuring all fleet operations meet legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Solid background as a Diesel Mechanic, with extensive experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Previous experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information.
- High attention to detail and commitment to excellence in service.
