- Provide daily care and supervision for animals housed in kennels or cages ensuring cleanliness and comfort.
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
- Handle pet care duties including feeding, grooming, exercise, and monitoring behavioral or health changes.
- Assist front desk staff with client interactions by showing and handling dogs or cats and providing information about a specific animal.
- Kennel experience with a strong understanding of animal husbandry practices (not required, but preferred).
- Ability to restrain animals safely using appropriate equipment and methods (training provided)
- Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and basic pet care principles to support overall well-being. A proactive attitude combined with attention to detail will ensure success in this rewarding role dedicated to improving animal health through compassionate care and technical expertise!
