Position Description

We’re looking for a Recruiter who can engage, excite, and successfully close top candidates in a competitive market. You’ll oversee high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple states, focusing on sourcing talent in the rural communities where we operate. This position is accountable for sourcing qualified candidates, screening applicants, coordinating interview logistics, and partnering with hiring managers to support effective and timely hiring decisions. The Recruiter ensures a consistent and compliant recruiting process aligned with internal policies and applicable labor regulations.
Qualifications
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment: screening, interviewing, presenting, and closing candidates.
- Act as the primary liaison between applicants and the hiring team.
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with enthusiasm and clarity to ensure a positive experience.
- Review applications and conduct screenings to assess qualifications and fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, coordinate next steps, and prepare offer recommendations and documentation in partnership with HR.
- Coordinate all pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, employment verification, and completion of onboarding documentation.
- Transition new hires to HR and hiring managers for onboarding and integration.
Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Create and post job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and on relevant external job boards.
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, employee referrals, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a network of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with external recruiting agencies when open positions require additional support.
- Maintain accurate sourcing and candidate activity records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and HR partners regarding candidate pipelines and progress.
- Coordinate interview logistics with candidates, hiring teams, and interview panels.
- Support interview teams with preparation materials and feedback collection.
- Work with HR and management to improve employee retention strategies.
Metrics & Compliance
- Track recruitment metrics and report on hiring trends, time-to-fill, and quality of hires.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with federal and state employment laws and guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities
- Willingness to travel to various locations for on-site recruiting events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, follow -through, analytical skills, and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities; ability to positively influence management, and the capability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience using all different types of social media platforms for sourcing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Paycom or other similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required.
