The employee will work in a kitchen environment with moderate temperatures, occasional extreme temperatures, confined spaces, chemicals, and smells commonly associated with cooking and cleaning. The noise level may be moderate to loud depending on the task at hand. The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
Physical Demands:
The employee is continually required to walk, stand, lift objects, twist at neck and waist, bend, push, stoop, reach, and kneel. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and lift/push lunch tables.
Mental/Motor Demands:
The employee often performs routine work, exercises flexibility, works within time constraints, and maintains attentiveness intensity. The employee may be involved in interactions which require oral and written communications.

- Serving: operate a cash register, serve meals to students and staff, and maintain a clean and organized serving area.
- Cleaning: maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning equipment, utensils, and facilities.
Requirements:
- No experience required, but some previous food service work is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent; or any combination of training and experience likely to provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
- Good physical condition and fitness.
- Ability to work effectively without close supervision.
- Ability to keep records as receiving and production records, inventory sheets.
