Summary
The Draft and Special Events Supervisor plays a key role in strengthening Columbia Distributing’s presence in the market ensuring consistent, high-quality service that supports both customer satisfaction and business performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the team that installs, troubleshoots, and services all draft accounts in a timely manner including providing estimates and scheduling for new and existing accounts.
- Manage set up and operation of special events.
- Track, maintain, and manage department budget including overtime, parts and equipment to ensure a profitable business model.
- Learn and maintain good standing for Columbia Distributing on all applicable Liquor Control Board laws and regulations.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for the pertinent functions of the team.
- Provide ongoing training to the sales and customer service teams on basic draft system troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and maintain inventory levels for draft supplies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you encounter through your job.
- Complete all other tasks or projects, as assigned.

Education/Training:
- High School diploma or GED required Licenses/Certifications.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required Experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of technical draft experience Special event experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skill:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail with technical knowledge of draft system installation and repair.
- LEAN, Continuous Improvement, and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift/Carry 50 lbs. repetitively; Push/Pull up to 175 lbs.
- Bend/Stoop/Crouch/Squat/Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
- Work indoors and outdoors
Education/Training:
- High School diploma or GED required Licenses/Certifications.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required Experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of technical draft experience Special event experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid driver's license with a compliant driving record and auto insurance required.
- Molson Coors Advanced Draught Certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of technical draft experience or special event experience.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, days/hours of work vary, and may include weekends.
Travel:
Travel to accounts/events often, occasional travel to other branches within Washington.

- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
