Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities.

Position: Counselor I

Department: Residential - Cornerstone

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm (swing shift, 30 min unpaid lunch). 

Salary Range: $28.13 to $36.37 (hourly). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Position Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in social services field or combination of education/experience that qualifies as a QMHA required; History of working cooperatively in a team setting with at least two years relevant work experience preferred.

Summary: The Counselor I, as part of an integrated care team, will provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor. The Counselor I may be assigned to any agency program including, but not limited to: ACT, Crisis, Intensive Services, Outpatient, Jail Diversion, Wrap, Residential or Detox. Essential duties may vary per location/department/position.
