Position Overview:
As a Production Worker, you will play a critical role in the ice manufacturing process. Your responsibilities include operating equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean work environment, and following safety guidelines. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to all company procedures.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
✔ Ice Production: Operate ice-making equipment and monitor machines to ensure efficient production.
✔ Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance: Regularly check machinery, perform minor troubleshooting, and report issues.
✔ Preventative Maintenance: Assist with routine upkeep of compressors, ice makers, and related equipment.
✔ Inventory & Supplies: Ensure an adequate stock of replacement parts and notify management of any shortages.
✔ Pallet Stacking: Efficiently stack and organize ice on pallets (8 per hour).
✔ Cleaning & Sanitization: Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, following daily and scheduled cleaning protocols.
✔ Record Keeping: Complete logs for production, sanitation, and equipment status.
✔ Customer Interaction: Occasionally assist with customer orders in a professional manner.
✔ Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety rules and guidelines.
Job Expectations:
- Work in cold environments (freezers and refrigerated areas).
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Handle basic mechanical tasks for troubleshooting equipment.
- Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
