Duties
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in animals, including emergency cases requiring veterinary critical care experience.
- Perform thorough animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during examinations and procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and interpret veterinary terminology to inform treatment plans.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Assist with complex procedures such as animal catheterization, pet grooming, and animal husbandry tasks.
- Educate pet owners on animal physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and overall pet care best practices.
- Maintain detailed medical records, update treatment protocols, and communicate effectively with clients about their pet’s health needs.
Experience
- Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in general animal care and emergency response.
- Hands-on experience in animal restraint techniques and animal handling across various species including dogs and equines.
- Laboratory experience involving diagnostic testing and sample analysis is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat conditions.
- Experience working in high-pressure environments such as veterinary critical care units or emergency clinics is preferred.
- Knowledge of pet grooming, pet care routines, and animal husbandry practices enhances the quality of patient management.

Pay: $106,000.47 - $135,000.00 per year
