A Chance of a Lifetime, (COLT) is a 501c3 horse sanctuary devoted to the healing or horses and humans..
Somebody who is a kind and responsible individual who loves horses, enjoys caring for them and wants to become part of our breathtaking horse sanctuary in Santa Fe County. We are looking for the right person to join our herd that can learn the ropes; is able to follow direction and work with focus. There is room to grow into manager position.
Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
Feeding, mucking and watering of 15 horses.
Additional duties as needed: general facility maintenance, minor (fence) repairs, weed control, incidental special projects.

Experience with horses;

Responsible, Honest, Dependable and Loyal;
Able/willing to follow instruction;
Flexible;
Speaks English;
Physically Strong;
Reliable Transportation. (all wheel drive is a plus in Winter)
Living in close proximity to Lone Bute/Hwy 14 area is preferable due to the short shifts on multiple days per week.

We are a smoke/drug/alcohol free facility.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
Salary : $18 - $20
