Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, building strong, trusting relationships.
- Manage commercial line accounts, including policy servicing, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and billing inquiries.
- Handle client requests for information, coverage questions, and documentation in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and process new business and renewal applications; gather exposure information, review for accuracy, and submit to carriers for the marketing team.
- Conduct coverage reviews and risk assessments to identify gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and present quotes/proposals.
- Support clients with claims processing, inquiries, and advocacy with insurance carriers.
- Contact clients in advance of renewals to gather updated information and prevent coverage gaps.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with all E&O (Errors & Omissions) procedures.
- Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to negotiate terms, market accounts, and secure the best coverage at competitive rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice on risk management and insurance needs.
- Stay current with industry changes, carrier programs, and state/federal regulations affecting commercial insurance.
Requirements
- Active Producer's License for Property & Casualty in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance policies and coverages.
- Proficiency with agency management systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
Salary : $36,000 - $58,000
