Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator provides support to the traffic and warehouse teams by assisting in a variety of day-to-day activities to ensure that products are shipped and received according to agree upon scheduling.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Create and release warehouse shipments and pick tickets for Warehouse team
- Create customs documentation and process bills of lading for outbound shipments (including outside warehouses and intercompany)
- Create and process repack production orders to meet shipping requirements
- Process inventory adjustments as required
- Support Traffic coordination through TMS as required
- Review shipping schedule for current day and next three days and communicate with Traffic team, Warehouse team and Customer Service Representatives any concerns regarding inventory availability for shipment
- Review receiving schedule for current day and next tree days and communicate any correspondence with Supply Chain team, Traffic team and Warehouse team regarding delays from the vendor or carrier
- Review daily shipping schedule and communicate with Traffic team, Warehouse team and Customer Service Representatives any items not shipped
- Review daily receiving schedule and communicate with Supply Chain team, Traffic team and Warehouse team any items not received
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory responsibility but provides functional or technical guidance to other staff within a work group or unit. May be required to provide some advice on policies and procedures to staff.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Traffic/Logistics responsibilities and experience working in fast paced and pressured environments is strongly desired.
Education and Experience
- 1-3 years specialized education/training required, equivalent to College diploma/degree or trade apprenticeship. Applies concepts from a discipline or field of study. Within field of specialization is capable of solving problems of an average nature.
- Previous education or equivalent experience in Logistics field
