Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination.
- Load, unload, and secure merchandise using proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury and damage.
- Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and build strong customer relationships through professional service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with in store inventory, preparing orders for delivery and thoroughly checking orders going out for delivery for accuracy.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and upselling techniques.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
