About the Position:

The Prepress and Operations Specialist is the lifeblood of ColorHub’s front of house operations. You serve as the frontline communicator with customers, shepherding them through the customer experience from order intake to the end. This team member coordinates with ColorHub’s salesforce, vendors, and production team and tracks an order from intake to shipment. From prepping customer files for proof & print to booking freight, this person does it all.

In this role, you will:

Ø Determine the best production methods for each order by reviewing customer requirements, studying layout options for each machine center, and assessing art file specifications

Ø Prepare clear notes and instructions for the production team to ensure consistency and quality of all press output

Ø Manipulate and layer files to meet ColorHub’s production standards

Ø Communicate via email with clients regarding order timeline, art files, including any issues and questions

Ø Coordinate with project management to prioritize and reorganize jobs to meet deadline changes and updates

Ø Assist customers with graphic design and structural design needs, if within company capabilities

Ø Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer and vendor accounts

Ø Monitor and manage customer facing communication channels

Ø Proactively anticipate and efficiently respond to issues and concerns with speed and precision

Ø Contribute to process improvement and systems innovation

Ø Perform all duties in accordance with ColorHub’s safety and quality standards

Competencies and Qualifications

High school diploma, with 2-3 years of related experience preferred. Hard skills include being proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and competent communicator with written English. Required skills include, but are not limited to: planning, organization, scheduling, analyzing information, deadline-oriented, time management, process improvement.

Compensation: Commensurate with Training, Expertise and Experience

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Grade 4: $40,000 to $55,000
