Position Summary

Responsibilities & Duties
- Safely operate yard truck rental vehicle to transport goods between facilities.
- Always ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on driving assignments, including inventory management and loading/unloading trailers.
- Report any delays, safety concerns, or incidents to management promptly.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Provide support for warehouse duties, including Shipping and Receiving and Inventory Control.
- Willingness to cross-train and work different hours to fulfill the department’s needs.
- Manage and maintain the Shipping yard in an orderly manner.
- Assist in pulling deliveries and loading deliveries as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- 1 years of experience in commercial driving, with warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts, hand pallet jacks, docking ramps, and stretch wrapper stations.
- Basic computer skills for logging into Systems Application & Products (SAP), using RF scanner, Windows Outlook, Excel, and completing required paperwork.
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.
- Ability to properly handle materials, including raw, intermediate, and finished goods for storage and shipment.
