The Strategic
Supplier Manager is primarily responsible for mitigating the risk of business
interruption associated with the sourcing of direct raw materials, indirect
materials, and services supporting manufacturing operations at the West Point,
PA site for Pharmaceutical, Nutritional, Food, and Confection customer items.
The role mitigates supplier‑driven cost increases and cost volatility through
strategic sourcing and supplier engagement to protect supply continuity and
total cost of ownership.
In addition, the
position provides strategic sourcing support for direct materials in NALAN,
North America and Northern Latin America, manufacturing operations specifically
Stoughton, WI; Indianapolis, IN; and Belen, NM, as required. The scope of
responsibility excludes risks related to strategic raw materials sourced within
the U.S. and Canada that are not utilized in NALAN manufacturing but are used
at other global manufacturing sites. This position reports to the Senior Supply
Chain Manager.
