Project Coordinator - Commercial Construction
Full-Time | In-Person | Murrieta, CA | $25-$30/hr
Colorado West Construction is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support our Project Managers and field teams on active commercial construction projects. This role supports multiple active commercial construction projects and requires familiarity with construction documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
You'll work closely with 2-3 Project Managers and Superintendents, helping keep multiple projects running smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Track and expedite RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Assist with project schedules, timelines, and subcontractor coordination
- Distribute updated drawings, schedules, and project information
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with project tracking and reporting
Document & Contract Management
- Prepare and maintain subcontract agreements and insurance documentation
- Compile change orders, subcontractor billing, and project records
- Organize and distribute project closeout documentation
Communication
- Act as a point of contact for project-related updates
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Communicate updates regarding budget, schedule, or scope changes
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of experience in a commercial construction administrative or project coordination role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
- Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent commercial construction projects is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, or move for extended periods when needed
Additional Requirements
- Ideal Candidate will have experience supporting active commercial construction
- Applicants should be familiar with standard construction documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor billing.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent commercial construction projects is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $25-$30 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time Location: Murrieta, CA (In-Person)
