CRS was designed from its inception to provide the most effective, cutting-edge neuropsychiatric treatments with a focus on improving brain health and quality of life for those suffering from common mental health, substance use disorders, and chronic pain.
Our centers provide advanced medical therapies, including, but not limited to, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine infusion, Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and neuropsychiatric medication management. CRS strives to provide high-quality, collaborative care to military veterans, civilian first responders, their family members, and the Greater Colorado Springs and Monument, Colorado communities.
Job Summary:

This role manages the Reception, Intake Coordination, and Billing departments, ensuring smooth patient registration, insurance verification, billing, and collections processes.
Additionally, the RCM Manager is responsible for provider credentialing with insurance payers, maintaining provider CAQH profiles, ensuring the accuracy of provider directories, and managing the submission of provider rosters to insurance payers. This position also develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each department they oversee to ensure consistent and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Cycle Oversight & Financial Operations
- Oversee the full revenue cycle, including patient intake, charge capture, coding, billing, claims processing, payment reconciliation, and collections.
- Ensure timely, accurate claim submissions and effective denials management, monitoring A/R aging, reimbursement trends, and denial rates.
- Supervise the billing team in claim submission, payment posting, appeals, and patient collections to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize revenue cycle processes and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and federal/state regulations.
Department Management & SOP Development
- Manage front desk operations, intake coordination, and billing workflows to ensure accurate patient check-in, insurance verification, prior authorization, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all supervised departments to standardize workflows and promote efficiency.
- Monitor department KPIs, identify process improvement opportunities, and present performance metrics to CRS leadership.
- Lead, train, and mentor staff across Reception, Intake, and Billing teams to maintain compliance, quality standards, and high-performance outcomes.
Provider Credentialing & Insurance Compliance
- Manage credentialing and enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, ensuring timely participation and payment readiness.
- Maintain provider CAQH profiles and ensure accurate provider data across insurance directories and billing systems.
- Oversee submission and quarterly review of provider rosters and insurance billing policies to maintain payer compliance.
- Partner with the CAO to track payer contracts and confirm provider linkage for reimbursement.
Technology, Reporting & Process Optimization
- Leverage practice management and EHR systems for reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement in billing, intake, and credentialing.
- Generate financial and operational reports to identify trends, monitor revenue performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Implement technology solutions and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy across revenue cycle functions.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Staff Development
- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical, administrative, and financial teams to support cohesive operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support professional development and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- RCM or billing-related certification (ex: CPB, CPPM)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare finance, preferably in a behavioral health or psychiatric practice.
- Minimum 1-year experience managing a billing department within a healthcare setting.
- Experience in provider credentialing, CAQH profile management, insurance roster submissions, and directory maintenance.
- Strong understanding of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10), insurance policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Workspace.
- Experience managing reception and intake departments in a healthcare setting.
