RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiates purchase orders and work authorizations and codes them if requested by Superintendent
- Reviews project documents and maintains adherence to plans and specifications
- Reviews shop drawings for project coordination
- Supports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safety
- Completes weekly safety audits
- Responsible for leading small teams
- Assists in full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs
- Assists with developing and reviewing JHAs
- Assists with material delivery/procurement
- Assists in maintaining GH Phipps’ SDS program
- Manages QC inspections
- Creates and manages 3 week look ahead schedules
- Monitors cost related data (labor hours, material overruns, etc.)
- Responsible for daily timekeeping as directed
- Assists in weekly jobsite meetings with lead supervisor
- Assists with all aspects of job setup, project meetings, and close-out as directed
- Assists supervisor in maintaining as-built drawings and specifications
- Assists in supervising specific trade partners as directed
- Assists craft with managing day to day tasks
- Assists with creating and managing weekly work plans
- Assists with production tracking of craft and trade partners
- Assists with maintaining horizontal and vertical control
- Assists with Architect/Consultant’s observation reports and resolution of non-conformance
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
High School Diploma applicable industry experience
Apprenticeship preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE
0-6 years of general commercial construction experience preferred
SKILLS
- Familiar with construction project management software, PROCORE preferred
- Proficient in Bluebeam or document mark up
- Familiar with Scheduling software, ASTA preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE
- OSHA 30 Certification is required
- CPR / First Aid
- Stormwater

- Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens
- All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time.

The salary range for this position is $ 70,000 – 86,500 annually and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.

Compensation
Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, participation in our employee stock ownership program (ESOP) on your first day of hire, and eligibility in our annual bonus program. Annual ESOP contributions and bonuses are dependent on company performance and are not guaranteed from year to year. Both ESOP and bonuses are calculated on one’s eligible compensation for the year.
Holidays and Paid-Time Off
Employees get seven paid holidays (designated) and one paid floating holiday.
PTO may be used for vacation, sick time, or other personal matters and is based on years of employment and years of experience.
