The CNCC Marketing Department seeks a highly organized, proactive, and creative individual with
excellent oral and written communication skills to support internal and external communication. The
Assistant Director of Marketing is responsible for the execution of communication strategies that increase public awareness, influence enrollment, and elevate the brand. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to advance the College's mission and strategic initiatives. The position is primarily housed on the Rangely campus with the expectation and the individual will spend time on both campuses as needed.
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in higher education, CRM systems, or administrative support (A combination of an Associates degree and work experience will be considered in lieu) Software & Technology. Demonstrated proficiency in CRM platforms such as Banner, Navigate, and Recruit, Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple systems and projects in a fast-paced, student-centered environment.
Bachelors's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism and/or related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, graphic design communications or a related field with proven results planning and executing communication strategies and public relations programs.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver license and ability to travel.
Equipment/Software Skills: Experience managing and maintaining social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, and/or TikTok.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel along with the ability to quickly learn new software and programs.
Experience with digital editing software.
Experience with website content management systems.
Working knowledge of basic web programing including HTML.
Other Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with the development, writing, and communication of creative briefs, presentations, newsletters, direct marketing, internet and promotional literature.
Demonstrated experience coordinating events such as interviews, meetings, trainings, etc., with multiple people, departments, and stake holders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential materials when working on specific tasks or projects
Comfortable working in a fast-moving organization while maintaining accuracy with an eye for details.
Highly creative thinker that can bring to life messages, ideas, and programs in new ways that resonate with internal and external audiences.
Extremely resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys learning and experimenting with new technologies.
A self-starter who is proactive, responsive, high energy, creative, and collaborative.
Develop good relationships across teams and departments and the ability to confidently and clearly explain communications ideas.
