About Ripton
Ripton is a fast-growing performance denim brand based in Boulder, Colorado. We build technical, durable denim with outdoor utility, grit, and style — and we do it with a small, resourceful team that values ownership, adaptability, and doing things the right way instead of the easy way.
We are founder-led, fast-moving, and deeply focused on building a brand that feels intentional, authentic, and beautifully executed.
The Role
The Director of Marketing leads Ripton’s marketing function end-to-end. This is a senior leadership role responsible for team management, brand vision, campaign execution, growth performance, budget stewardship, and calendar discipline.
This role is fundamentally holistic. It requires someone who can:
- Think strategically across the entire brand ecosystem
- Elevate creative output with a strong artistic point of view
- Own the marketing budget with discipline and accountability
- Drive results across every channel — not just one
- Bring strong taste, strong judgment, and strong executional instinct
The Director of Marketing is the steward of Ripton’s brand narrative and the architect of our launch rhythm. They ensure that product, story, content, performance marketing, retail, and athlete partnerships all work together cohesively and at a high standard.
This role is in-office five days per week (unless traveling for work) and serves as the anchor of the marketing team’s planning, execution, and creative output.
This role starts as a player-coach position, combining hands-on ownership with team leadership, and is expected to become increasingly management-heavy as Ripton scales.
