This is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Junction, CO, for an Accounting Associate. The role involves supporting financial operations, including preparing financial statements, recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and tracking financial transactions. The Accounting Associate will work with accounting software to ensure accuracy and compliance and may assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis. They will collaborate with team members to maintain organized and efficient financial processes aligned with the foundation's mission.
- Experience with Financial Statements and preparing Journal Entries
- Strong Analytical Skills with a focus on Finance and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software and other related financial tools
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
- Knowledge of nonprofit financial management is a plus
