Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Aquire dirty dishes from cafe and transport them to the dishwashing station while adhering to manual handling safety standards.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and other sanitation tools safely and effectively.
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling practices.
Skills
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of operating dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times.
