What You'll Do
As a Project Business Development Manager, you will:
- Reach out to potential customers and build strong relationships
- Research organizations and identify new business opportunities
- Promote and market company services to new clients
- Measure properties, gather bid details, and prepare proposals
- Deliver polished presentations and close sales
- Coordinate project details with operations and finance teams
- Ensure customer concerns are handled quickly and professionally
- Partner with Account Managers and Operations to meet client expectations
- Verify competitive vendor/subcontractor pricing
- Monitor financial performance of work tickets for profitability and quality
- Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, and follow‑ups
- Support safety and environmental best practices
- Participate in leadership meetings and company initiatives
- Bachelor's degree preferred (horticulture a plus)
- 3–5 years of sales experience required; landscaping industry experience preferred
- Experience in the Construction Industry, required. Experience with Landscape Construction, is a plus
- Strong horticulture knowledge (plants, pests, diseases, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Aility to read and interpret construction documents
- Proven leadership in a high‑performance environment
- Ability to collaborate with personnel at multiple branches
- Indoor and outdoor work
- Extended hours during peak seasons
- Minimal physical activity; occasional exposure to outdoor weather
