What You'll D

In This Hands-on Lead Role, You Will

• Serve as the go-to expertfor irrigation diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system repairs.
• Lead and support field crewsworking on residential and commercial properties.
• Perform advanced electrical and hydraulic diagnostics (valves, wiring, zone issues, mainline breaks, etc.).
• Program and optimize smart / Wi-Fi-enabled controllers(Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.) to improve water efficiency.
• Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations to clients with professionalism and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records, system settings, and service notes using digital tools.
• Mentor junior techniciansto ensure safe, efficient, high-quality work.
• Follow all company safety standards and local water-use regulations.
  
  

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who brings both skill and leadership potential to the table.

Required

• Minimum 4 yearsof irrigation service or repair experience (residential or commercial).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills — you're the person everyone calls when they can't figure it out.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read site maps, interpret irrigation layouts, and follow technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain findings and recommendations clearly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  

Preferred (but Not Required)

• Crew lead or informal leadership experience (training helpers, directing daily tasks, etc.).
• Industry certifications such asCIT, CLIA, BAT, or similar — or interest in earning them.
