Job Title: Inside Sales Representative (Counter Sales)
Colony Tire Corporation located in Summerville, SC, is currently seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to join our team! Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales growth and profitability. This role engages prospective and existing customers to sell retail, commercial, industrial, agricultural, intermodal, OTR/earthmover, and retread tires, along with road hazard programs and recommended services. The position supports daily store operations by accurately assessing customer needs, preparing quotes and estimates, and coordinating delivery and installation, while upholding Colony Tire Corporations standards of professionalism, integrity, and service excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities; include but not limited to:
- Greet, assist, and direct customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating products and explaining features, benefits, and available services.
- Recommend appropriate products and services based on customer needs, applications, and budget considerations.
- Answer customer questions regarding pricing, availability, warranties, delivery timelines, product usage, and credit terms.
- Prepare accurate quotes, estimates, and bids tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Solicit new customer accounts and actively manage existing and unsold accounts.
- Coordinate and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
- Support store sales objectives and contribute to overall profitability.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Manager, Store Manager, and other team members regarding customer needs and order status.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support store operations and sales goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior tire or related sales experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Primarily indoor work environment with periodic exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Requires standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift or move items exceeding 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
