CDL Driver - Class B

A Little About Your Day:

• From day to day, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of merchandise in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• You will load your truck (a 26' tandem axle flatbed) via forklift or by hand and secure it with strapping to ensure safe delivery to customer jobsites.
• You will safely operate a truck-mounted forklift to load/unload building materials such as rebar, lumber, and wire mesh.
• Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform your pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure your safety.
• You will check in frequently with the customer to announce arrival, collect payments from customers, and ensure all signatures are received.
• Schedule of 5:30/6am until 2-3pm M-F

What You’ll Need for Success:

• A minimum of 3 years of prior driving experience and deliveries.
• Experience driving flatbeds with moffett or piggyback experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse environment and operating forklifts preferred.
• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license with a sustained record of safe driving.
• A Commercial Driver’s License B or A.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
