Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Director to join our team! The Plant Operations Director is responsible for ensuring the retirement community is safe and well-maintained for the residents, employees, visitors and the public. Plant Operations Director is responsible for all areas of building maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, environmental services. This role is additionally responsible for local, state and federal code compliance as well as life-safety requirements.

Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Director to join our team! The Plant Operations Director is responsible for ensuring the retirement community is safe and well-maintained for the residents, employees, visitors and the public. Plant Operations Director is responsible for all areas of building maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, environmental services. This role is additionally responsible for local, state and federal code compliance as well as life-safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair and service all facility equipment and furnishings as required
- Follows safety policies and infection control guidelines, assuring resident safety and compliance with all federal and state regulations
- Follows and understands the Company’s Emergency Preparedness plans
- Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
- Assist with transportation of residents as requested
- Provide training to all staff in areas of Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, OSHA, etc.
- Maintains cost records and meets budgeted guidelines
- Manage, train and schedule Plant Operations team
- Direct vendors and regulatory inspectors to meet code requirements
- Develop and lead campus safety committee
- Position requires 24/7 on-call status
