Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall satisfaction of tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring that all aspects of property maintenance and tenant relations are handled efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for supervising maintenance teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction
- Lead and supervise maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities utilizing Appfolio Software System
- Supervise projects related to property upgrades or renovations, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Monitor facilities' safety standards by conducting regular inspections for electrical safety, high voltage systems, low voltage wiring, and mechanical integrity
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Appfolio Software System and prepare reports on property conditions
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work while managing costs effectively
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety protocols for industrial maintenance environments
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in facilities or property management with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience using CMMS platforms (property management software systems) for maintenance planning and record-keeping
- Ability to read technical schematics and operate testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment
- Strong project management skills to oversee renovation or upgrade projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members, vendors, and stakeholders
