The Territory Account Manager, an important producer to the team, is critical in building our B2B footprint and driving sales within the assigned territory. In this role, you will prospect and grow accounts throughout the territory by utilizing the CRM and intelligence tools available. You will own all bookings, sales and revenue for specified region and target B2B accounts based upon quota plans. This individual will also partner closely with the Agency Development Manager (ADM) to develop, land and expand new relationships by driving brand awareness across all verticals of product representation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- The role is HYBRID. Must demonstrate remote working discipline.
- Report into Sales Organization.
- Responsible for all sales up to and including new bookings, revenue, churn, and customer satisfaction at assigned and target accounts.
- Build strong relationships with client decision makers.
- Build a robust sales pipeline by hunting new prospects and farming current clients.
- Conduct and facilitate client meetings and need analysis.
- Drive sales in conjunction and teaming with the plan of the company.
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders (Clients, Partners, Sales, Management, Recruiting, Operations) to support delivery and ensure success.
- Mitigate churn by creating retention programs and adding value through cross-selling, new products, and opportunities.
- Effectively deliver and communicate with stakeholders to drive alignment of programs and goals.
- This role requires no consumer facing selling of insurance products.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
What You’ll Bring with You
- BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.
- Ability to drive strategic sales approach, with flexibility to adapt to new client demands, patterns, and requirements.
- Desire to shape strategy and drive a book of business with alignment to company’s strategic goals.
- Familiarity and discipline with use of CRM platforms.
- Self-motivated, with a proven track record of execution as a team member and team leader.
- Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- Experience and executive presence to lead client meetings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, priority driven environment and interfacing with all stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, results driven, and pragmatic while also innovative and creative.
- A team player who works well individually and with others.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to present to all levels of the sales cycle
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior executives and management.
