POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analyst role will be responsible for analyzing/supporting JD Edwards based solutions and facilitating the integration of technology into business operations with the goal of improving operations and efficiency. This position specializes in several JD Edwards modules and acts as a functional lead. In addition, provide input and assist in the development and implementation of business initiatives to support company operations and business decision-making.
JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES
- Provide functional support for JD Edwards (JDE) E1 and associated databases in Sales Order/Distribution, Manufacturing and Finance modules including customizations.
- Prepare test data to assist technical analyst to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for leveraging JDE E1
- Collect business requirements, perform feasibility analysis, find gaps, define scope and design.
- Assist in creating workflows.
- Design - Menus, UDO – (Watchlist, E1 Pages, Café One, Advanced queries), BIP Output, E1 Batch application, E1 Interactive Applications.
- Create versions, set processing options, menus and promote them to production.
- Acts as a liaison between end users and development teams, ensuring that technology is installed or configured in a way that supports business objectives and meets user needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts: employees, functional consultants, and contractors who have varying levels of expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments daily to maintain positive communication/interaction.
- Support integration testing and post-implementation validation
- Advise on the configuration and setup of system master data.
- 8-10 years’ experience as a JD Edwards Functional Business Analyst in an EnterpriseOne environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science is preferred.
- Expertise in JDE E1 financials functional including AR, AP, and GL.
- Strong understanding of JDE E1 Inventory Management, Shop floor and Manufacturing module.
- Experience in DSI Mobile platform.
- Experience with planning and executing upgrades to JDE is highly desirable.
- Experience with acquisitions to include converting 3rd party systems to JDE.
- Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills to understand business challenges and identify solutions.
- Proven track record of working with users and driving requirements and workflows.
- Proficient in database SQL queries, data extracts, V-Lookups, Analysis of data.
- Strong familiarity with Orchestrator.
- Flexible / Out of the box thinking.
- Familiarity with Agile framework principles and ability to facilitate scrum events with a development team such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, stakeholder demonstrations and retrospectives.
- Experience using work management software such as: Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent.
