We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional with ~4–7 years of experience who is ready to take ownership of planning, logistics, and operational improvements—without direct people management.
You will play a critical role in inventory strategy, demand planning, logistics coordination, and cross-functional execution while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Control
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using demand forecasts and safety stock models
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory
- Manage lot tracking, batch control, and expiration monitoring
- Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventory
- Adjust min/max reorder points and support inventory costing accuracy
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts (monthly/quarterly)
- Analyze historical trends, seasonality, and market shifts
- Partner with Sales to align on customer demand changes
- Track forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias)
Production & Supply Planning
- Ensure raw material availability for manufacturing
- Monitor throughput, bottlenecks, and yield performance
- Support new product launches and formulation changes
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
- Manage purchase orders for raw materials and packaging
- Monitor supplier lead times, pricing, and service levels
- Support sourcing initiatives and supplier performance reviews
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report on KPIs:
- Inventory turns
- Service levels
- Forecast accuracy
- Freight cost efficiency
- Backorders
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality teams
- Lead supply review meetings and communicate risks proactively
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in:
- Inventory optimization
- Freight and logistics efficiency
- Forecasting processes
- Warehouse operations
- Support ERP enhancements (Business Central)
- Standardize SOPs and drive process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- 4–7 years of supply chain experience (planning, logistics, or procurement)
- Experience in manufacturing or chemical distribution strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and KPI tracking
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Business Central)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, data analysis)
