COLOMA COMMUNITY SCHOOL
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEER COACH
Summary:
The Middle School Cheer Coach at Coloma Junior High School will plan, organize, and implement the cheer program. This is a seasonal position that requires a commitment to the team during the cheer season.
Responsibilities:
- Deceloping and implementing strategies and practice plans
- Work with individual players to improve their skills and technique
- Attend all practices, competition, and team events as required
- Help maintain a positive team culture and promote good sportsmanship
- Management of equipment and facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head varsity coach or athletic director
Requirements:
- 2 years of coaching experience preferred
- Work within the existing program philosophies & collaborate to improve those philosophies
- Ability to effectively communicate with players, coaches, and parents
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
- Must be able to attend all practices, competitions, and team events as required
- Commitment to promoting a positive team culture and upholding the values of Coloma High School.
