Job Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team.
Duties
- Forming for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, belgian block
- Perform concrete pouring activities, including placing concrete into forms
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and trowels.
- Install rebar and formwork according to construction plans to support the concrete structure during pouring and curing processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing, formwork construction, or masonry work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as power trowels, screeds, mixers, saws, and other hand-held equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately; familiarity with blueprint specification interpretation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to concrete work is a plus.
- Commitment to construction site safety regulations and best practices for safe workplace conduct.
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
