Tow Truck Operator (Must have Experience)

Location Requirement: Applicants must live in or within a reasonable driving distance of Vero Beach, FL. Due to our emergency response operations, non-local applicants will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior, hands-on towing experience. We are not accepting applications from individuals without tow truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light and medium tow trucks.
• Perform vehicle recoveries, accident recoveries, and emergency roadside service.
• Load, transport, and unload vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete accurate logs and required documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding calls, incidents, and job status.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift to ensure safe operation.
• Provide excellent customer service during stressful roadside situations.

Requirements

• Must have previous tow truck operating experience. No exceptions.
• Must live in or near Vero Beach, FL
• Valid Florida Class E Driver License (You will not need a CDL).
• Must have a Clean driving record for insurance requirements.
• Clean background you will be dealing with Law Enforcement and they will require a background check.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
• Ability to respond quickly to dispatch calls.
• Must be available for overnight on-call shifts and after-hours emergency calls.
