Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily collision center operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality workmanship
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using industry-standard systems and diagnostic tools
- Manage the full sales and service process, including identifying and recommending additional repair and maintenance services
- Lead, mentor, and motivate technicians and staff to meet performance and safety standards
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining repair needs, timelines, and costs with transparency and professionalism
- Maintain proper documentation, invoicing, and cash handling procedures
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, repair methods, and estimating practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a dealership or collision center environment
- Strong background in management, estimating, or service writing
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Hands-on mechanical experience across a wide range of systems (mechanical collision preferred)
- Proficiency with estimating software CCC
- Strong sales and customer retention skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information
