The Role: We are seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage diverse client needs ranging from payroll to tax preparation. This is an ideal role for a professional who enjoys variety in their daily tasks and is looking for a long-term "home" with clear paths for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Services: Prepare and enter personal and business tax returns.
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable and perform month-end bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Payroll & Data: Execute payroll processing and general data entry with high attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting OR 3 years of relevant field experience.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) strongly preferred.
- Availability: Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with the ability to work extended hours during the peak tax season (January–April).
