The Role: This is not just a data-entry position. We are looking for an Accountant who can step in and take ownership of client accounts. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues and clients alike, utilizing your 3 years of experience to ensure accuracy and provide insightful financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Expertise: Prepare and manage personal and business tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Financial Management: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, month-end closings, and complex reconciliations.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements and assist clients in understanding their fiscal health.
- Payroll & Compliance: Manage payroll cycles and ensure all reporting is timely and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and team members.
