What are the responsibilities and job description for the QMHP - Fidelity Manager - Crisis Services position at Collin County Mental Health Retardation Center?
Under the administrative supervision of the Asst. Director of Behavioral Health Crisis Services, the Behavioral Health Fidelity Manager—Crisis Services is responsible for fidelity oversight of service provision of service provision and documentation as it pertains to: Medicaid billing rules, TAC requirements, UM guidelines, CCBHC standards, evidenced based practices, and in alignment with LifePath Systems mission, values, and policies and procedures. This position reviews documentation of progress notes and recovery plans, continuity of care practices, and runs data and reporting on program outcomes as directed by supervisor. This position works closely with the PA for Crisis Outreach services and the PA for Crisis Center to provide guidance in coaching and training as well as feedback to ensure quality services. The Fidelity Manager will be responsible for regular chart and program audits and presents findings and recommendations in a collaborative solution focused manner. The Fidelity Manager must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional ethics, appearance, and conduct. The Fidelity Manager must have strong organization and time management skills as this position requires innovation in data reporting and remote independent work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from a four-year accredited university OR Bachelor’s degree WITH relevant experience in the behavioral health field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Education and experience must meet TAC requirements for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Must have at least 3 years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders. If a short time, the individual’s experience, and aptitude to learn and perform role well quickly will be taken into consideration.
- Experience working for a CCBHC highly preferred.
- Experience in quality management or data analysis strongly preferred.
- Experience in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to write clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing rules, TAC requirements, CCBHC standards, Info Item V as it pertains to crisis response, and state approved evidence-based practices for community mental health.
- Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders and recovery concepts.
- Knowledge, experience, and proficiency in using Excel and other standard Microsoft Office programs, systems, and databases
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple pieces of information.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.
