Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records
- Operate forklifts safely to move pallets and large items within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct stock stocking, replenishment, and inventory counts regularly to maintain optimal stock levels
- Support packaging processes for outgoing shipments, ensuring products are securely prepared for delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members on order picking, data entry, and logistics coordination to meet delivery deadlines
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), or inventory management software is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Strong attention to detail for data entry, order accuracy, and compliance with trade regulations
- Excellent customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations is advantageous
