What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collier High School position at Collier Services?
This maternity leave coverage woul cover from May, 2025 until December 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate students individually and in small groups
- Develop and implement lessons and activities through a multi-sensory approach
- Provide students with differentiated instruction and behavioral modification
- Understand and align instruction based on IEP
- Maintain and establish relationships, routines, and procedures within the classroom
- Maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
- Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities
- Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and school policies
- Must complete evaluations, daily reports, grades, and other reports
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for students
Qualifications:
- Must have Teacher of the Handicapped Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Teaching Certification in Math.
- Must have experience working with students with a diagnosis of high-functioning autism
- Strong background in positive behavior modification and classroom management strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Hours: 8:30-3:00 – Monday-Friday.
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
