What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle and High School Social Worker position at Collier Services?
Collier Middle and High School seeks a School Social Worker to join our team in Wickatunk, NJ. Must have a School Social Worker Certification.
Responsibilities:
- Case management
- Participation in IEP and other meetings
- Facilitate support groups
- Link students and their families with community resources, as needed
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, back-to-school night, and other school functions and events
- Work closely with school districts' child study team
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assist with social-emotional and behavioral need
- Comply with IEP rules and regulations
- Develop intervention plans for student
- Work closely with teachers and administration on methods to enhance students' abilities
Qualifications:
- Must have an LCSW (required)
- Must have a School Social Worker certification (required)
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Hours: 8:00-3:30 – Monday-Friday from September to June following the school calendar.
Salary Rate: $55,000 - $60,000
