CollegeCommunityCareer (CCC) is seeking a College Success & Family Engagement Coordinator who is passionate about working alongside students and families to turn college dreams into reality. About the Role
The College Success & Family Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in CCC’s College Success Program by working directly with students and their families throughout the college preparation and application process. This position blends teaching, advising, family engagement, program coordination, and data tracking to ensure students are academically prepared, supported at home, and positioned to successfully apply to and enroll in college.
This is a full-time, in-person position requiring strong interpersonal skills, organization, and a deep commitment to educational equity.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support & College Success
- Teach college readiness and success classes for high school students
- Guide students through the college application process, including timelines, essays, FAFSA/TASFA, and enrollment steps
- Support students in building academic, organizational, and self-advocacy skills
- Track student progress and outcomes to ensure milestones are met
Family Engagement
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers
- Facilitate bilingual family meetings and workshops that demystify college access and financial aid
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for families, helping them navigate the college process with confidence
Programming & Workshops
- Design and lead engaging workshops for students and families
- Collaborate with CCC staff to align programming with organizational goals
- Support evening and occasional weekend programming as needed
Data & Reporting
- Collect, track, and maintain accurate student and family engagement data
- Assist with documentation and reporting to support continuous program improvement
- Use data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for student support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working with first-generation, low-income, or underserved students and families
- Strong facilitation and communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred)
- Ability to build authentic relationships with students, families, and community partners
- Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable with data entry, tracking, and basic reporting
- Willingness to do meaningful, hands-on work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
