Movers & Drivers

Summary: This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading and set-up of furniture and household goods during client services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely remove customer belongings and furniture from customer homes and into the truck using safe lifting techniques
• Carefully and strategically pack furniture and other belongings into the moving truck
• Unload the moving truck and place belongings into new customer location as specified or in an organized manner if not specified
• Use padding and wrapping to properly protect customer property and belongings
• Keep track of equipment and ensure safe return
• Reset moving truck and equipment to prepare for next service
• Greet customers and maintain excellent customer service
• Complete Muscle Mover training training
• Maintain excellent attendance

Qualifications:

• Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and reach throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to bend, crouch, walk backward or side to side, and up and down stairs while carrying furniture.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work with a team, exercise good judgment and sound decision-making required.
• Little to no experience moving required

Work Environment:

• Extreme weather conditions including heat, rain, snow, cold, and other.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
