Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Moving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering top-notch service. As a Lead Moving Specialist, you will oversee moving crews, ensure the safe handling and transport of items, and maintain high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of moving specialists, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the moving process from start to finish
- Ensure the safe packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of household and office items
- Conduct pre-move assessments and plan logistics to ensure efficient and effective moves
- Communicate with clients to address their needs and concerns, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain inventory of moving supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition
- Train new employees on proper moving techniques and company procedures
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the moving process
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year in a leadership role, moving experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
