What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Intern position at Collection XIIX, Ltd.?
Collection 18 is seeking talented students with an interest in fashion in the New York area. Candidates can take advantage of on-the-job training, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to all aspects of the fashion industry
Responsibilities:
- Research on various new design concepts
- Assembly of presentation boards and other administrative duties
- Assist designers with mood boards, putting together color palettes for the season, and any other design-oriented tasks
- PLM system management
- Assist designer through all stages of product development
Additional Information & Qualifications:
- Internship is paid
- Candidate must be located in or around New York City for the duration of the internship
- Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs
- Great attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit and team player
- Related major to desired department is a plus
- Interest in pursuing a career in the accessories and fashion industry
- Candidate must be a self starter, able to keep up in a fast paced environment, and a curious learner
