Collectibles Marketplace is a fast-growing retailer specializing in high-end collectibles, including comic books, sports cards, Pokémon, and more. We aren't just a local hobby shop; we are building a modern, omnichannel brand that connects with collectors both in-store and online.
The Opportunity: Growth & Management
Key Responsibilities
- Shopify Management: Act as the "digital architect" for our shop. You will list new arrivals, manage online orders, and ensure our web store reflects our current high-demand inventory.
- Inventory Integration: Oversee the flow of products from the trade-in counter to our Shopify platform, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and high-quality photography.
- Customer Experience: Provide expert-level service to collectors, offering insights on card grading, market trends, and upcoming releases.
- Operational Leadership: Assist in streamlining store workflows. Prove your ability to manage staff and store operations to accelerate your move into a Management role.
- Market Analysis: Use tech tools and marketplace data (eBay, TCGPlayer) to ensure our store and Shopify site remain competitive.
Qualifications
- Tech Mastery: High proficiency with technology is a must. Previous experience with Shopify is a major plus, but we will train the right candidate who is a fast learner and "software-fluent."
- Hobby Knowledge: A strong baseline in Pokémon, sports cards, or comics. You should understand "condition" and be able to quickly research market values.
- Management Ambition: You are looking for a career, not just a job. You have the leadership qualities to eventually oversee a team and take ownership of store performance.
