The responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in both guest rooms and public areas. This role is integral in executing a comfortable and enjoyable guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Stripping and making beds.
- Cleaning surfaces in guest rooms and common areas to ensure health standards are met.
- Replenishing linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Carry and transfer linens, towels, toiletries and other guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Launder towels, linens, and other items on site; this includes loading washing machines and dryers, ironing and folding dried items.
- Sort, count, inventory, mark and store clean linens.
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Move and arrange furniture.
- Clean, organize, and remove debris or other items from common areas.
- Receive inquiries from and communicate information to guests.
- Report safety hazards and other maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or manager.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety codes and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs and stand throughout the work shift.
- Must be able to use cleaning and laundry equipment.
- Basic English skills required.
- May be assigned to perform duties at any of our properties located within walking distance of each other.
