Collaborative Therapies is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide school-based physical therapy services to students in the Palm Bay, Florida area.
This is a flexible PRN opportunity ideal for a PTA looking to supplement an existing schedule while making a meaningful impact in the school setting.
Current Caseload & Schedule
- Approximately 5 students
- Approximately 5–8 anticipated hours per week
- Flexible scheduling during school-day hours

- Caseload may grow as additional students are identified
Hours are anticipated and may vary based on each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) service minutes and scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement treatment plans and interventions established by the supervising PT
- Support students in improving functional mobility, strength, coordination, and participation in the educational environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Collaborate with supervising therapists, school staff, families, and other members of the educational team
- Follow applicable school, company, and professional requirements
Qualifications
- Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
